Classic 11oz filet tasted bland and not as tender as I would expect from prime beef. Upgraded my steak with the truffle crust for $10 and received what looked like a teaspoon of breadcrumbs that added very little flavor to the steak. Ordered a side of loaded hash browns that tasted like they were straight out of the Ore-Ida frozen hash browns bag. Wife had a similar steak with garlic mashed potatoes that were dry and also tastes like they came out of the grocery store freezer section. My wife’s favorite part of the meal were the croutons in her salad and the ranch dressing. Bread and butter did taste amazing though. On a positive note, the atmosphere and staff were top notch.

Wonderful restaurant. Great attentive service. Food was delicious. My wife said hers was "the best chicken I've ever had". My filet was done to perfection and wonderfully tender. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Our first time at Ruth’s Chris, and while we’ll probably try it again - it definitely wasn’t one of our favorite experiences or steakhouses. Aside from the hostesses who didn’t seem very friendly and greeted us with kind of a straight, barely there smile (the valets were very friendly) - our server and her skills were outstanding. Starting off with our drinks, the server brought us a sample of a wine we were eyeing (by the bottle). We didn’t like it very well, but they were out of the bottle we wanted. I ended up with a dirty vodka martini with blue cheese stuffed olives and my husband had one of their signature cocktails. The stuffed olives were so good, but the martini was barely dirty. It almost tasted like straight vodka with no juice whatsoever, but it did the job. Now for the food. I honestly wasn’t that impressed, the prices certainly didn’t match the offerings. I had the 6oz filet that came with 2 shrimp. I also had a Caesar salad and side of garlic mashed potatoes. The Caesar salad was superb, so good. One of my shrimp had a short, black hair cooked into the seasoning right on top of it. That immediately put me off the entree. I decided not to say anything about it and just pushed the one shrimp to the side. I didn’t want the server to feel bad and I didn’t want to make the restaurant feel like they had to comp anything or make anything new. In hindsight, I feel like my decision was wrong and I should’ve pointed it out at the end of the meal so that they at least knew to be more thorough with plate checks before sending food out - it’s a different caliber of restaurant so the expectations are higher and I should have let them know. The steak itself was cooked more on the well side when I confirmed with the server that I wanted a warm pink center. The 500° plates don’t help because they end up cooking the food more after it leaves the kitchen so it ended up more cooked than I’d like. While it was tender, it was dry. The mashed potatoes were also very bland

Our experience was absolutely great. Celebrated our third wedding anniversary there and was treated like royalty. Would definitely recommend and we will be back soon.

Service was great, the food was delicious and the overall experience was good. Granted it was a Tuesday night and it was very quiet.

The food was good as usual but it was our server Elizabeth that made the experience amazing . Elizabeth was not only professional, but was very personable and took time to make our experience exceptional.
