Enjoy the panoramic view of large oaks and a rolling stream from the many window-side tables, or the large, starlight deck. Or, savor the intimate atmosphere from a comfortable sofa, and in the winter, the warmth of a crackling fireplace.

Ryan's Chef creates a tantalizing selection of appetizers such as jumbo lump crabmeat, steamed mussels in garlic butter and white wine, and oysters Rockefeller. Entrees range from thick, juicy steaks and prime rib to the finest grilled fresh fish and live Maine lobster. Choose from the menu or a superb selection of specials offered nightly. Add a cappuccino and a freshly made dessert to seal the dining experience.

The restaurant has been locally owned and under the same management since 1981. Ryan's has been awarded the Wine Spectator's "Award of Excellence" and is often featured in national publications. Recently awarded the DiRoNa Award for Distinctive Fine Dining.

We’re honestly shocked that this place gets such great reviews. Our appetizers were the best part of the meal. The lump crab was delicious and tasted fresh. The tartare was well thought out. The Caesar salad tasted like it came from a bag kit and the Parmesan was obviously pre shredded not fresh. The French onion soup was okay but nothing more than you’d expect from a diner. The halibut tasted fresh and was cooked well but had little seasoning and the accompanying broccoli was just sad. The steak was cooked well and meat was good quality but the sauce was overpowering. Mashed potatoes tasted like instant made with water and no seasoning. Mac n cheese we expected a delicious bubbling baked Mac and got a generic white velveeta with more pre shredded Parmesan. We didn’t finish a single thing. Our bill was over 200, which would have been fine if the food had wowed, but everything was so painfully underwhelming. If you’re looking for somewhere to take your grandparents, maybe this is the place. I can’t think of any other reason to go.

I wasn’t aware that my Filet was going to cost $91.00…. Sticker Shock ….I can afford , however, Would have chosen something … don’t feel it was worth the cost/ value…. Otherwise, we had a great experience as usual…

Service was exceptional. My birthday was acknowledged by staff. Food was tasty and fresh. My chocolate cake was however an utter disappointment. It tasted like it was unwrapped Sara Lee. I’m glad I wasn’t charged for it.

As always our meal was stupendous. My prime rib was perfect. Crab cakes were awesome and the pork chop cooked to perfection.
