Had a horrible experience. I really wanted to like this restaurant. Unfortunately, our server was basically clueless. And the rest of the service providers were just as bad. Food was so heavily spiced you could only feel like your mouth was on fire! And, this was after server told us our food choices were not spicy. Trying to redeem the meal we ordered what we thought would be a great dessert. Once again, the server had no idea and told us that the bread pudding comes warmed up. It was served ice cold. They then said they would heat it up. We sat waiting about 30 minutes only to be told that the bread pudding couldn’t be warmed up. Another server said he would tell the manager. We never saw manager! We paid our bill and left a one dollar tip. This restaurant sucks! Don’t waste your time or money.

Been here many times but not since the addition of meat. No problem with that but both people who had the bison burger were underwhelmed to say the least for the price Prices seem to have greatly increased which I do get in the current economic situation Will likely come back again but it won’t be the default choice like it normally is , may try some other places first , staff were great as always

Met up with a girlfriend for lunch on a Friday afternoon. The restaurant was not very busy and we were seated immediately. I was still waiting for my friend and our server, Urban, was super friendly and accommodating. We ordered the fried artichoke hearts, the carbs asada tacos and the curry. I'm a meat eater and my friend is vegan so this was a great meeting spot to cater to both our diets. Everything was delicious. Urban was nice enough to bring us a bag of ice so my gf could keep her pumped milk cold and we all had a laugh about it. Great atmosphere and great food. The prices are high, but you're paying for the quality of food.

Been coming to Sage for many years and was appreciative that it was all vegan. I love their Cali avocado tempeh “burger. Very disappointed that they can’t make good fries, though. They are soggy and tasteless. Server confirmed this is how they usually are.

Pokey, things took really long to get to us, and I had to get up to ask a couple of times to ask specific things. It wasn't clear as to what the issue was, but our server kept disappearing for longer periods of time and what should have been a cute hour and a bit brunch took about 3 hours when we had somewhere to go. We weren't asking for the sun and stars, we were asking for brunch to be served in a timely manner.

We were seated in a very crowded corner though a lot of tables were available and since the party next to us was a larger group there for a birthday party it was very loud Also it’s was so hot and AC in this area was very weak We had the delicious food while sweating! The service was very good but twice someone tried to deliver someone else’s pizza order to us Finding the place was somewhat of a maze due to construction and we were also told on the phone there was validation for parking and then turns out we parked in the only lot that they didn’t give validation for ~ Bathroom also outside where you need code like at a fast food place or something - hot and musty in there too Was a mixed experience for sure - Will come back to explore the cute shopping area though for sure

The food at this place has changed dramatically. It used to be vegan restaurant with delicious food. In a casual atmosphere. Had read in the newspaper that they decided to depart from that format, so when visiting this time was curious as to what it meant. Instead of a vegan restaurant, now it’s just another meat centered place with a few vegan or vegetarian options. And now everything is ala carte. Instead of, for example a dish including beans, fries or such, you have to get them separately. Furthermore, this place was very adept as using spices to enhance their dishes, now that’s been pretty much replaced by heat. The last time eating there, we noticed a drop off in quality, but thought perhaps it was a bad night and not a trend. Looks like we were wrong. Too bad really, truly nice places are not the rule but the exception. But the casual atmosphere remains, along with the good wait staff.
