                We we there on New Years Eve. We had the sea bass. It was delicious!

                We enjoyed our first visit at Sage. Restaurant decor and lighting is beautiful. Pre-dinner drinks at the roof top bar were great (beautiful views and space). All meals were superb- the rack of lamb, seafood bouillabaisse, and sea bass. The female pianist added to the ambiance (exceptional voice and music selection). The waitstaff was also very attentive and friendly and added to the experience.

                New Years' Eve- Just perfect! Marley was our server and he was terrific! Everything was great. We had the pear salad and filet mignon. We were with another couple who also enjoyed the entire evening. The Chocolate dessert was beautiful, as well as delicious. We will definitely return more often this season and take our friends! Happy 2025!

                As always Jonathan did a great job. Every thing was timed perfectly. I started with the foie gras which was delicious and my wife had the poached pear salad which was also very good. Next course was a pork chop for me and the filet for my wife. She really loved the blue cheese crusted sweet potato that accompanied the filet. We always make it a point to visit Sage when we are in Sarasota.

                our waiter marley was excellent and attentive and meeting christopher the chef was a super plus. the food was excellent, the rose delicious and the rooftop bar was very nice to relax and have a cocktail.

                The Bouillabaisse needs a different name. 1 scallop. 1 shrimp 1 lobster piece that was mushy and grainy. Our 2nd time. The pork chop was average and potatoes were not cooked through. Not sure we will return.

                Sage is probably the most beautiful restaurant in Sarasota or its environs, and the professionalism of the staff is the highest level we have seen in the area. Unlike most joints which stop serving by 9:00 PM, Sage serves dinner until 10:00 PM on weekdays and 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday, with last reservation at 9:30. We walked there in 4 minutes from seeing the Ballet at the Sarasota Opera House, and I called ahead to say the performance was delayed (it was an actual world premiere). Bless them, they kept the kitchen open just for us, the last diners, and we had the best after-theatre experience since we've lived in Florida, like the old days when we lived on the Upper West Side and went to Lincoln Center.
