We were seated upstairs in a corner. There were four of us. It was too close to the next table and not enough room. There was a large table in the middle with 16 very loud patrons- not the fault of the restaurant. The waitress was pleasant but our food didn’t arrive for over an hour. When it did arrive, it was lukewarm.

Manager and wait staff friendly and attentive. Service was great. Food was very good. Looking forward to going back.

We were sat at the tiniest table by the bar and entrance to the kitchen so there was contact traffic at our table. Server was very slow and not helpful if you ask questions. We only saw her about 3 times at our table and had our check ready to go before asking if we were done. I would highly recommend calling and making a reservation and asking where your table will be. Food was good, which is why I gave 3 stars.

Delicious traditional foods that you don’t get often anymore. Their beef & cabbage soup was hot and comfortable on this cold winter night.

Was sat outside and service was sparse. When asked why we were not sat at any of the open tables inside, we were told they are prepaid. Will not go back or recommend.

i went and ate/had a drink at the downstairs bar last night. it was fairly busy but the bar tender was wonderful, for how busy it was the kitchen seemed to get my food out in a timely manner. espresso martini was top tier & the corn bread warmed me up from the cold. I had the stroganoff, it was the perfect portion. I would definitely recommend this place. friendly staff, good food & great drinks

Food was quite good and our server was pleasant and attentive. It’s the little things that keep my review from going full 4&5 star. For example, the restaurant is in an historic building and there is a step up to get in. My wife uses a mobility device so it was impossible for her to enter. A temporary ramp would solve this issue quickly. The meal runner was attentive, but could use better training on how to present the dish and know which diner receives which dish. The bartender was a little unsure how to make a martini. We enjoy this establishment and intend to return. We want them to be successful and to be regarded as one of the best restaurants in the area. If they can simply get more of the little things right/better, they will be!
