Located in a contemporary space of coastal design Salt at Geist has a focus on fresh. A locally owned scratch kitchen and bar specializing in wild and sustainable seafood, sushi, steaks, hand crafted cocktails along with an extensive wine list, Salt at Geist prides itself on creating unique dining experiences. The Steak and lobster tail NYE special was very good. Our waitress did an excellent job considering it was NYE and very busy. This was my first visit and plan to visit again in the near future.

Food was great. Bar service very slow, the music way to loud, they were playing dance club music, had to yell to talk to the person across from me.

Salt on NYE was delicious & great for a special occasion! I don’t think we’d do it other than for a holiday, but the food was delicious & we enjoyed our evening!

Star Rangoon, Grilled Salmon, Shrimp & Grits, Scallops, Cheesecake all 5 stars. environment is different depending on where you sit in the restaurant. They sat our party of 3 by the front door judging us by our casual dress I assume. Been there before and sat more on the perimeter where the lighting and atmosphere was much more enjoyable. Drinks and tip put us over $300. Definitely going back.

Used Open Table to make our reservation on the same day. The staff were engaging and pleasant. Service was excellent.

Not only was the food insanely good (highly recommend the crab Rangoon + the gumbo) but the service was truly next level. Paige was fantastic! She was attentive without hovering, personable, and gave wonderful recommendations. Nyles (busser) was equally as awesome! He kept our waters full and refreshed and removed empty dishes the moment we finished them. It’s clear this establishment highers the best. We cannot wait to visit again!
