   We waited 1.5 hours for our food and left without eating. Mgmt did not care that we had been waiting that long and they did not care that we left without eating.

   Food was tasty, interesting and presented with style. We had cracked conch and tuna tartare as appetizers, and the jerk chicken tacos for our main. Spicy margaritas as our cocktails. Enjoyed all items. We ate at the bar, since we had booked only a couple of days ahead. This was fine, and the bar tender was quite personable and made good suggestions. Overall it was our best meal of our 5 day vacation. We had stayed at the Grand Isle resort which had 2 onsite restaurants. Both were fine, but this was better. Only a 5 minute ride away by golf cart.

   Salt recently implemented a $50 corkage fee per bottle for customers who bring their own wine. Their wine list it’s rather limited so I prefer to bring a bottle of good wine. A corkage fee is OK, but $50 is too high.

   The food was great but I’m assuming we had a rookie server as our food came out at different times throughout the night. Assuming that’s a one off, we’ll be back.
