We are excited to bring our dream to a reality along with friends and family. We plan to share our love and knowledge of an industry that we are so passionate about and proud to be a part of in our hometown of New Brunswick. Here at Salt, we are creating a modern oyster bar with a hip vibe serving up a large variety of fresh local oysters, as well as oysters from around the US. We will offer a seafood inspired seasonal menu both in our casual bar and our elegant dining room. We will also offer many innovative dishes including a variety of local meats along with plenty of vegetarian options. We aim to create an inviting atmosphere for everyone with our warm décor and friendly staff. Our full bar will feature a variety of signature cocktails and revolving creative small plates. Chef Chris’ passion for food promises consistent exceptional quality and to awaken the palate with bold, fresh flavors in every bite!

Great tasty food, the fish it’s always fresh and they have a great selection of oysters. Last night was specially decorated to bring in the new year 👍🎆

NYE- food was great as usual. Service was a little slower than usual. Could be due to NYE or the fact we were put in a corner.

Amazing restaurant! We have been here a few times for special occasions and it never disappoints! It is expensive but so worth it. We will be back!

Good food and decemt service. Halibut and salmon entrees were excellent. The only odd thing was the sparkling water ordered was delivered in a reusable container, not the usual bottle that one would expect. Overall, a nice experience and price commensurate with the quality. We will return in the future.

The downstairs Cove section is nice, but it's obviously a trade-off to have a comfortable table without the vibe of the main dining room and bar. We compensated by grabbing a digestif at the bar. The food was excellent and I appreciate having service staff working as a team to keep the table clear during a meal. My only complaint is having a credit card fee attached to the bill. I expect this with small shops and local diners. Larger restaurants like Salt can easily include credit card fees in their prices.

A great experience on Christmas Eve. All the meals were great but the Key West grouper was particularly outstanding.
