    Steaks are always delicious, cooked to order. Generous drinks, crisp salad. Service a bit off tonight, tables not full when we arrived, some confusion on who was waiting on us, requested items (extra butter, needed a new knife) seemed to be forgotten until walking by you again and "Oh hon I'm on my way to get it no." But again, food was delicious and a 6 oz filet with crisp salad and baked potato for $34 is a nice deal!

    Good food, even better service this time. This is a place that we come to every time we stay at this hotel and I’ve only been disappointed once, but the only 15 times have not disappointed and was very good. I would recommend this restaurant.

    The food in Lake Charles was amazing. We don’t dine anywhere else because no one is better. Our waitress was also very good and so attentive to our needs.

    We had a great dinner for my step-son’s birthday. Our waitress Kennedy was top-notch! Our steaks were cooked and seasoned well. The queso is delicious as well.

    Saltgrass Lake Charles can’t be beat. The food is so good and the service is second to none. We will continue going there. We always leave with some to take home. Excellent food. Excellent service !!!!

    Steak was NOT medium but bloody - more on the rare side and both baked potatoes were cold - to the point that the cheese would not melt. Chicken fried chicken was excellent as was the potato soup - waitress was excellent.

    The service provided by our waiter JD was terrible. 10 minutes to get water. Brought appetizer without small plates, finish awkwardly eating appetizer by the time he brought plates. Drink order took 25 minutes. Steaks were overcooked. Telling that other staff members brought out delayed drinks and main course. JD was no where to be seen
