Salute was recommended to me, and I couldnt have been more impressed. The food was fantastic and the service too-notch! We can’t wait to go back again. I highly recommend!!!

This was our first time at Salute and I honestly have to say that this is a hidden gem in Berks County. We were here for our 29th anniversary and the owner Giovanni our hostess Stevie and his team went above and beyond to make us feel at home and welcomed. From the drinks to the appetizers to the main entrees and the desserts (we had 4 different desserts lol) Everything was spot on amazing. A simple fettuccine Alfredo was the best Alfredo we have ever had in our lives. The chicken Marsala was perfect. The chicken was like butter, fork, tender, and the mushroom sauce was to die for. The mussels were absolutely amazing and the broth in the mussels were to die for. I was mopping up the broth from the mussels with the beautiful Crostinis they gave us. I can’t believe that we’ve been in Berks County all our lives and had not known about Salute. Kudos to Giovanni and his team. They were absolutely amazing. We will definitely be returning!!

This is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere. Giovanni makes everybody feel like old friends and his staff clearly love their jobs. The food is consistently flavorful and beautifully presented. I highly recommend ordering off the Italian regional menu that highlights signature flavors and ingredients of the various Italian regions. Go there. Eat well. Have fun.

We’re from out of town and our daughter took us here for dinner. It was amazing! Food and service were great! Next time we visit we’ll definitely eat here again.

Everything was AMAZING as always! This place is one of our favorite restaurants! We both got the prime NY strips and they were incredible!! Cant wait to come back!

Booked a late dinner here after a show in Reading on a Tuesday night. Drink special - it was ‘Tini Tuesday and we enjoyed those very much. The wait staff was charming and attentive. And, the food was properly done. Recommend the Branzino (though I may be spelling that wrong) dinner and the Buffalo Mozzarella and Prosciutto appetizer. I think the owner was there. He greeted us as we were being seated. Interesting, the entire staff there seemed close, like they really enjoyed each other’s company. Nice joint.

Our experience was, once again, wonderful. We were seated after a short wait. Our service person, Gabby, was very attentive and had a personality that made our 70 year old hearts smile. The owner is just a wonderful host who makes everyone feel welcome. The food was great as it always is. Will return soon.
