This was our first visit. We loved the food and the atmosphere. A bit pricey, but we will definitely go back.

We had a reservation. showed up 10 minutes early. Expected to sit at the bar. We were seated right away. Took 20 minutes to get greeted. Took 35 minutes to get a beverage. They seemed very short staffed or something. There were two regulars next to us saying "I've never sen it like this". It was not that busy but they were struggling. The food was pretty good, the caprese salad was very nice, my wife had Ravioli which was so good. I got monk fish, a special. It's my favorite. I own a catering company,I understand food temps very well. This fish was raw in the middle. Ice cold in the middle. But given the struggles of the night I just ate my wife's remaining food and a little more bread and we had dessert. Didn't think sending it back would do me any good. I was a bit sick the next day, digestively speaking. I had very high hopes. It's a lovely old school place. But for $287 for 2 people, they didn't deliver. I think we just caught them on an off night, but there's too many great places in Manhattan to risk it again.

Met friends for dinner. We were looking forward to good Italian food. It was average. Not great. Service was pretty good but they were too busy for the number of people that were there

Granted, it is the holiday season, but we waited for drinks. we waited for appetizers and then a very long wait for entrees . The food was not the quality you would expect for the price , the duck special lacked seasoning , the steak was tough, the waiter was apologetic, but does that really help in the end, probably not enough to return ,
