Chef Aurore will be serving a fabulous 3-course menu Prix Fixe ($79) featuring Chilean Sea Bass, Grass-Fed Filet Mignon, Muscovy Duck and Vegan Entree. Kids’ menu available ($20). DINE-IN seating times are 4PM, 6PM. Reservations required. Take-Out orders must be placed in advance, by Saturday, December 29th. Understaffed, our steaks were well-done by the time they got to us, we order medium. The rabbit stew was good if not for the excessive amount of bones (used more leg and loin please). Overall, good flavors, good ingredients, good idea, not enough humans.

The food was almost inedible (overdone steak, dry, tasteless fish and desert). We were charged a corkage fee for our BYOB wine, we were the second of three seatings for the evening (Thanksgiving meal) and the management flickered the house lights 45 minutes into the meal indicating (evidently) that we had 15 minutes left to finish up. Although each seating ran for 2 hours, the house gave itself 45 minutes to reset...nothing...for the following seating: No table cloth or nice center piece or even cordial working of the room and Holiday good wishes by management. We left hungry, unsatisfied and wishing we HAD put up with an at home traditional Thanksgiving Day meal with a house that smelled wonderful and a joyful mess to clean up (that said, there wasn't even a pleasant odor of food which greeted you at the door at Sapiens). I was in the restaurant business for 10 years and worked everything from coffee shops, steak houses and gourmet French tableside cooking establishments so I know quality and value; I would not wish Sapiens on anybody! Sorry mom, but sometimes you have to say something mean about somebody.

Thanksgiving dinner was very enjoyable. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was tasty and the turkey tender.

We love everything about this restaurant! You can make it as elegant or as casual as you like because they do not have a liquor license. You can bring your own fine wine to a complement your meal. The only reason a four star was given on the food is it was very salty. We will just ask for less salt next time.

Incredible restaurant. The food was delicious and reasonably priced We tried the rabbit stew, duck and chicken. Each was flavorful and beautifully prepared. The homemade chocolate candy is not to be missed. Hard to believe it is sugar-free. We will be back.

Lovely and delicious dinner with husband and friends. Fantastic Gluten-free French Onion Soup! Really delicious entrees including their special of scallops, lamb shank, and duck. Excellent French cuisine in Scottsdale with healthy paleo dishes. Highly recommend and all dishes are amazingly gluten-free.

The food was exceptional, faster than expected and completely unprocessed - all natural and delicious. Trying to eat out without seed oils is difficult, Sapien Kitchen makes it easy. We have found a new favorite place. Don't forget to BYO wine, beer, or whatever alcohol you might want. Cheers!

I am so glad and grateful I found this place. What a joy! The food was absolutely delicious. The stuffed mushrooms, duck, and chocolate crème brûlée were to die for. I have been Paleo for the last five years, and one of the things I’ve missed most is eating out at great restaurants and not worrying about ingredients, or whether or not they could modify something. The food at Sapien is so good, you wouldn’t know you were eating Paleo! For those who don’t follow that particular diet, I still say come and try and be delighted!! I cannot wait to visit again!
