   This was our first time at the restaurant, and we had always wanted to try it. Our waiter, whose name I forgot, was tall and slender with wavy strawberry-blonde hair. He was extremely helpful and pleasant, recommending excellent starters, wine, and main dishes. The outdoor balcony was nice, but the downstairs bar was a bit too loud for my liking. Overall, it is a quaint restaurant that is somewhat hidden in downtown St. Petersburg. We will definitely come back soon!

   We sat at the bar. Jess and Caelyn (sp?) were fantastic at guiding us through the menu and wine list.

   Night out with friends/neighbors. Everything was great. We share the chopped salad, oils, and goat cheese tart for starters. All were excellent and plenty to share. Most everyone had a pasta dish and all very great. Especially the daily special which was a four cheese lasagna. We then had the apple tart with gelato which was a favorite. Wine was great as always and a very good deal. Service by Justin was spot on and much appreciated. Thursday's are half price on all salads and pastas so this was also a great value.

   Food was fantastic. Service was fantastic. Ambiance was fantastic. Cannot say enough wonderful things about Sauvignon and will definitely be back soon!

   The restaurant was very accommodating when we had to change our reservation time at the last minute. Even though we dined late, the experience was faultless. We had a small cheese board to start with many delicious accoutrements. My entree was the tagliatelle al funghi with an airline chicken addition. It was spectacular. My daughter had the pasta special in a garlic cream sauce with the chicken and thoroughly enjoyed it. We also had an excellent French Sauvignon Blanc-a perfect summer wine and complemented the food nicely. It has been too long since we had been to Sauvignon and I’m ready to go back again!
