Scarpetta’s name is derived from the familial gesture “Fare la Scarpetta!” an Italian expression that describes the gesture of taking the little boot-shaped piece of bread to soak of the remaining sauce left in the pot of one’s home kitchen. We represent the indulgent pleasure of savoring a meal down to its very last taste! The ambiance can be described as lightly understated. With an elegant approach to design all while simultaneously creating a chic, inviting, and inspiring environment. We have one of the best viewpoints at the Cosmopolitan that overlooks the Las Vegas strip, facing towards the Bellagio fountains. The fountains paired with our sultry mood lighting and smooth Italian classic music in the background, we foster an undeniably, effortless and romantic dining experience.

Mike, our host, was great. Perfect recommendations for starters and mains. The dirty martinis left a bit to be desired but that’s being nit picky. Overall it was a nice meal and a great way to celebrate a birthday in Vegas!

We had an early reservation as we had a show to see that night. It took a while to get a drink order or a food order. We sat for an hour before they even got us the appetizer and it wasn't worth waiting for. We informed the waiter that we had a show at 7 and since the reservation was at 5, that should leave us plenty of time. But, there was a mix up in the kitchen and we never got our dinner. They comp'd the crappy appetizer that we didn't eat and our two glasses of wine. We were very disappointed (and starving) the rest of the night.

One of the most enjoyable meals we have had. From
the time we arrived until we left the experience was entirely positive. A great seat was offered to us. Warm bread with lily, soft butter and another spread. We shared a caprese salad ( plenty for two). My husband had the AGNOLOTTI and I had the TAGLIOLINI AGLI SCAMPI. Fantastic dishes. The perfect amount of food. While we declined to have dessert, as it was my husband’s birthday they brought a lovely treat for us to enjoy.
The sommelier found a wine which suited our price point and our taste. A fantastic wine.

Our waiter, Ron, was perfectly attentive and personable. We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting menu and the wine list was amazing. Best oysters I’ve ever had!
