First opened in 2016 and located on Orchard Street, where the LES, Chinatown and Dimes Square converge, Scarr's Pizza has been called, "The best slice in New York." With a focus on all-natural and organic ingredients, owner and 2024 James Beard Nominee (Best Chef NY State) Scarr Pimentel has crafted not only the best tasting slice in the city, but the healthiest too. Skip the line, book a table and come in for a pie. There is a full bar and the dine-in menu features the crowd favorite Hotboi and Clark Kent as well as exclusive items like the Calzones.

We loved their pizza and they lived up to our expectations set by the Timeout's designation of 2nd best pizza in the world......and as pointed out by Timeout, their dough is what makes their pizza. One of our friends had moderate gluten allergy and he ate three slices with gluten enzyme. The remarkable thing was he literally devoured the crust of every slice, and told us next day that he didn't experience any discomfort. Beyond freshly ground grain and dough made from it, the pizza just melted in our mouth. It was delicious in a way that kept us keep eating and ordering more. As to ambiance, this is not a fine-dining place. Neither would we want it to be. We liked noisy, bustling place where people of all age groups find their common love of a great pizza pie and this was as good as we have tasted.

I love pizza. I’ve had a lot of different kinds. There’s only a handful that are amazing. The pizza at Scarrs is like a combination of those few epic pizzas all rolled into one. The crust sauce and cheese are out of this world amazing. The atmosphere to include the store front and neighborhood only add to the ambiance. I’ll have to go back everytime I’m in NYC.

The food was a significant improvement over our last visit. I'm definitely going to get their Sicilian pie again. The person who took care of us was friendly and gave us free slices as they were out of ingredients for our initial order. Very prompt service too. I can't wait to go back again.

Classic NYC pizza joint, fresh, good ingredients. Annoying Rastafarian music blaring, and terrible ventilation detract from the otherwise good product.

We were a large group of 9 people so we booked two tables, one for 5 people and one for 4 people and even though the restaurant was empty they refused to put us at two tables close to one another. So weird
