Schilleci's New Orleans Kitchen is an intimate, elegant French Quarter-style restaurant in Market Street. Schilleci's is proud to offer a menu consisting of Louisiana classics like seafood gumbo and bread pudding along with a variety of fresh fish from around the word, steaks, and lamb chops. Voted 'Best of The Woodlands' every year since our 2010 opening, Schilleci's is owned and operated by the Schilleci family. This New Orleans fine dining restaurant specializes in Creole and Cajun regional cooking with authentic family recipes handed down over generations.                                                                                                 Schilleci's New Orleans Kitchen was one place that we will for sure go back to have Fresh Fish!! The Salmon and Barramundi were top notch the way the Blackened the Salmon and Seared the Barramundi. Mauricio was our waiter and he was amazing! They are located on Market Street and it was perfect ambiance for a Anniversary Dinner.

                                                                                                Based on reviews, our expectations were pretty high. The staff and waitress greeted us and made some calls so we could eat outside. Very cozy small restaurant. Waitress was very professional and helped us with an excellent wine choice. She was very excited about the food and talked about all the awards they had one.... That's about the best it got for the rest of the meal. Prices were a little shocking but - it is Market Street. She sold us on the croquettes instead of calamari. They are over breaded/over cooked and not much in the middle. Have had much better. Shared the Lamb and Stuffed Shrimp with hubby - stuffing was good - shrimp were overcooked. The Lamb was overcooked. The best part of the meal was the salad. Based on prices we truly expected better food. There was nothing that would bring me back at this point. Also note - beer and wine only. No cocktails.
