It was an excellent dining experience. Our server was friendly and professional. He was knowledgeable about the menu, which made my meal choice easier. The staff was also in sync - making seamless dining transitions from beverages to appetizers to main dishes.

The food was delicious. Our particular server was not attentive..... absent, forgot to put in total order.... had to request his presence several times.

The drinks and food was good and service was good. The music was a bit strange(80s rock, I think) and for this level of place. Overall though, we would go back.

First visit..went specifically for sushi none was available. The staff said they took it off the menu but it would be back on the following day. The staff was ok , our server never introduced herself only was given her name when asked. She was not familiar with menu, when asked how several fish dishes were prepared, she responded that they tasted baked. Music selection was nice but seemed odd selection. Seems like it was everyone’s first day.

I had a fantastic experience at Sea Grill! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff was incredibly attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. It’s the perfect spot for a birthday celebration—they go the extra mile to make the occasion feel special. I highly recommend it!

Updating this review to note that we have been contacted quickly by management with an opportunity to come try the restaurant again and get the experience they believe is more consistent with their norm. Will update this review once we’ve had the opportunity to do that. We really appreciate the quick response to our concerns. Vibe was nice, food was generally good. Service was lacking and very slow. Experience started off good at the bar, then slowly got worse as evening progressed. We are usually pretty quick at restaurants but it was a 3 hour dinner due to delays. The dessert had a piece of plastic in it and manager didn’t even take the time to stop by to check on us. They did remove the dessert from the bill but that was honestly at minimum necessary. Based on the cost which for two people and only one drinking was well over $300, we expected a much higher level of service.

What a wonderful find near our hotel when in Charlotte for a meeting. The menu has a wide selection of tasty appearing choices of mostly seafood. The wine list has many choices related to the sea. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes food from the sea.

Sea grille is a well crafted experience from the moment you walk into the lobby. The staff is extremely professional yet friendly and are clearly focused on execution of all aspects of the dining experience. The best way to describe the food is “extravagant simplicity” they use top notch ingredients to create familiar dishes that are elevated by the flawless execution of their kitchen. Love the ambiance in the well balanced and spacious dining room where you have slough room for it to feel private yet still mai rain a sociable shared space. This will be one of our new favorites in charlotte.Highly recommend it.
