Food is amazing I’ve been 3 times. Service is terrible very slow service . Servers aren’t knowledgeable. Every time I’ve been it’s the service that kills the experience. Good food and ambience tho

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The decor lovely and giving a definite vibe. The service top notch and you definitely should dress nicely. I had a mocktail and because it was my birthday they brought a glass of champagne. Shrimp and grits with blue crab and the seafood omelette delicious. I highly recommend this place and I will be back.

Sea Grill was nice. I wasn’t overly impressed or dissatisfied with our service. In the booking I did mark that it was our anniversary. I’m not sure if it translated or was overlooked but no mention of it upon arrival from the host or from our server. Usually in restaurants that are considered fine dining you are asked by your server what brings you in. Our server was knowledgeable with the food options and suggestions. The sushi was fresh, the crab balls were fresh with no fillers and good. I had the stuffed salmon (which was topped with one shrimp (thankfully our server suggested that I order the additional shrimp skewer). However, why call it stuffed with one shrimp. The spinach risotto that came with it was tasty. My husband had the halibut and veggies and he enjoyed his dish. The rose martini is a well crafted drink. Our dessert, which was a mango, custard blend was simply delightful. I will say that the vibe seemed to be a feigned air of importance, an air of superiority, all while lacking hospitality. Several of the back of house staff who brought entrees out, never smiled. I was informed by the hosts upon leaving that they have brunch also, I’ll go back for another try, maybe it’s a different vibe then.

Our server Kiana was the best. She treated us like she knew us. She smiled and laughed with us. Although she was busy with servicing other tables she continued to check on us while we waited for our food. The drinks were delicious and not watered down. Parking was reasonably priced for uptown Charlotte.

I had high hopes for this restaurant given all the hype. The atmosphere had much to be desired. It is a renovated nightclub. It still had the smell of smoke/cigars. You can see where the DJ booth was. They did a very light renovation to make it look like a nice restaurant. Service was okay. Our server was weeded most of the night and when we needed her she was nowhere to be found. The server assistants were all over us - too much…trying to take our meals away when we were still working. They didn’t have Vueve champagne as indicated on the menu and other options were not desirable. The staff needs help with presence and appearance. The food was okay. Not worth the price tag. I won’t be coming back.

My Husband and I had an amazing time at sea grill. Not only is the decor gorgeous, but the food and drinks are tasty too! We had Keyonna as our server and she took such great care of us. All of the staff were very pleasant. We had such an enjoyable time.
