Seaforth is an exquisite British brasserie with a sophisticated international twist, inspired by Liverpool’s rich trading history. Our menus, crafted with global influences, present guests with vibrant and inventive dishes that celebrate Liverpool’s connection to land and sea.

Indulge in menu highlights such as the iconic Liverpool Scouse—lamb prepared three ways with roasted and minted potatoes, carrot and swede, red cabbage, and red wine jus. Each dish is guided by the seasons, showcasing the finest local produce whenever possible.

                                                  Friendly staff. Good cocktails. Decent food. Lovely setting. Disappointing wine selection - three premium bottles I asked for not available and I ended up with a rather basic bottle. I don't understand why restaurants serve asparagus in November. Terrible carbon footprint and zero flavour.

                                                  Excellent service from our waiter in the Seaforth, he was very friendly and helpful, excellent meal, excellent choice on the menu

                                                  Overpriced for the quality. Service issues throughout and to top it off try to charge our party for 7 bottles of wine we didn’t have. Staff member stated they were having staffing issues and head chef wasn’t in (on a Friday night??) . It spoilt what should have been a lovely evening in a beautiful building. They need to start matching their ‘5 star’ aspirations with actual service.

                                                  Sunday roast was delicious- couldn’t fault food. Soft piano music gave it a nice ambiance. However, no kids menu so charged adult price for kids portion, kids didn’t want the set menu dessert so I was charged extra for plain ice cream even though I’d paid adult price for 2 courses for them. Cutlery dirty, drinks didn’t arrive until well into the main course, no soap in the bathroom. Food was that nice I would go back but without the kids as it doesn’t cater for them, and isn’t good value.

                                                  Setting - stunning Food - stunning Service - not what I expected. Main guy in suit running Seaforth restaurant was like a rabbit in headlights. Waiter was good but drinks took ages to arrive. Waiter serving food was unreal, so good, and what I expected all staff at the Municipal to be like.

                                                  From the minute we walked through the door we were greeted by friendly welcoming staff. The food was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I was celebrating a special birthday with my friends which was made all the more special by all the staff wishing me a happy birthday and the chef piping a chocolate happy birthday with a cake and candle and the staff singing happy birthday to me. Will definitely be coming back.
