The food was okay. Chargrilled oysters were delicious! Pretty expensive for my taste. $170 with tip for just two of us for a dozen grilled oysters and two entrees, a coke and a tea.

Sorry to say that we were disappointed with our meal at Sea Witch. Our waiter was friendly but got overwhelmed with another large party that he was waiting on. He was apologetic but forgot a drink order and the service was slow. The veal and fish we ordered sounded promising but was very salty and overly seasoned. The salad was over dressed as well. The portions were generous and when the food did arrive it was hot, so not entirely the servers fault.

We got the mother shucker for appetizers and I was not a fan of the oyster shooters but everything else was amazing. The duck was phenomenal and the pork chop was cooked perfect.

Everything was great. Excellent server. I had the redfish and it was a little over seasoned but still very good. The scallops were good and the slaw was awesome. As was the corn side that came with my fish. My wife loved the lobster and grits

Best to come for happy hour oysters. I ordered the gumbo that they seemed so proud of and couldn't eat it. It was extremely salty. My friend ordered the tuna crudo and it was OK. Too much pepper. I love spicy foods so that's not the problem. I would not have dinner there again.

The rest is lovely and the location is beautiful. The food is amazing but it is one of the most expensive eateries in the city. New Orleans is a food city so the prices at this restaurant is surprisingly high to be in a city surrounded w/exceptional food.
