We live in the area and this is unlike most other restaruants. It feels very modern, hip, NY like. That is a good thing. Very friendly reception, busy bar scene, friendly wait staff. Side salad blah. Main course for both of us - delicious. Expensive, but worth it. We will visit agian.

Selvin’s was outstanding! Food was amazing, ambiance, service and value. We split a few dishes and all were delicious - I’m still thinking about the gnocchi. Highly recommend it!

I ordered my steak medium rare and it arrived medium. I didn't complain but the waiter noticed that I hadn't really touched my steak and he asked me if something was wrong, I noted that it was a bit over cooked. He took my plate into the kitchen where the manager agreed and they ended up bring me a whole new plate, To my surprise...Yummy potato thing and veggies as well. Now that is service!

Normally love this place, it’s my third time, but tonight, the service is not as great, took forever to get our drinks, our appetizers came before our bread, it’s just not the same, might cancel my holiday company party and have it somewhere else. We were there celebrating our nurses birthday, it’s first time for my employees, they loved the food, just not too happy about the service, it was crowded tonight, but we got there right st 4PM when they opened

Service bad. Food took over an hour. It wasn’t that busy. Food mediocre at best. Wife returned salad as the kale was very bitter. Drinks good. Atmosphere nice but if they dont improve service and food they won’t make it. I would go again to the bar and get the burger.

Beautiful decor. Attentive, friendly service. Short ribs were served hot. And delicious.cesare salad w shrimp great. Will be back.. prices a bit high considering Ventura County but everything was fresh.

Thanksgiving is not their specialty. It was like eating a bunch of gross slop. The stuffing was horrible. The food was picked over and the dessert bar also empty. I felt robbed after paying $300 for this meal. Very disappointed but thankful because it's Thanksgiving I guess.

This was our first visit on Thanksgiving. It was a major disappointment. The buffet had minimal choices for $125 per person. The choices themselves were poorly prepared and unappetizing. The desserts were particularly poor. Don’t think I’m willing to ever return.
