   Amazing food and portion. We were so full and have to takeaway. Overall , I love the dishes are made creatively with filo and asian fusion style. Staffs are very friendly and polite as well. It’s worth the price point.

   EPIC VENUE, MEAL AND MENU. DO NOT sleep on this restaurant rather do yourself a favour and go to enjoy an evening here. Mad Props to chef Ross and the entire team. Had an exceptional night. A proud moment for Australia, for Filipino food and indeed for Melbourne dining scene. A enthusiastic and easily deserved 5 stars. Super DOPE

   We ordered the Kare-kare on top of hashbrown but I couldn’t get the distinct taste of the authentic Kare-kare. Scallops were flavourful but the pandesal just didn’t really taste and feel like the authentic pandesal. It tastes like just a usual bun. Even the longganisa flavour in the calamari wasn’t a bang. Service was fast though and they were able to rectify a wrong bill that we’ve paid for.

   I was disappointed with the change in food quality from my last visit. I consider this restaurant as an innovative kitchen with high food quality but my experience this time did not confirm that.

   Excellent evening at Serai for the special event by chef Brendan Pang. Great food, great staff. I'll definitely come back for the standard menu.

   Serai was fabulous: - Delicious food with a unique take on Filipino Flavours - Helpful staff who were attentive to our needs, even the Chef's spoke to us - Great price, generous serving of food - Childfriendly - Easy to find - Great ambience - Clean toilets

   Really enjoyed the food, but I was even more impressed by the service provided. Staff were really friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drinks available. Will definitely come back again.
