Originally inspired by the many amazing meals with family and dear friends throughout the Middle East, Shaya has been a trailblazer in modern Levantine cuisine. Drawing inspiration from the diverse cuisines & cultures of the Middle East, Meditteranean, and across North Africa, Shaya has set the benchmark for contemporary Mediterranean cuisine by honoring the age-old culinary traditions of the people who invented hospitality as we know it. Our fluffy hand-crafted pita bread baked to order in our wood-fired oven with delectable vegetable-driven dips, salads, and spreads will transport you to an exotic place.     Absolutely wonderful all around - food, service, welcoming environment! Do yourself a favor and get the fried chicken hummus and the lamb shank! DELICIOUS!

    Outstanding food, simple but creative menu, excellent service! Every dish we had did not disappoint. We will definitely visit again the next time we are in New Orleans.

    Everything was delicious, but the Brussels sprouts and the pita ubread stood out. And the Gamay-Tempranillo from Lebanon was an excellent wine choice.i

    Our experience at Shaya lived up to our very high expectations. This was some of the best food ever. And we’ve eaten all over the world.

    We have been to Shaya on multiple occasions and love it. We were there this time to celebrate our birthdays. Our reservations were on a Thursday at 3:30pm (not a super busy weekend or evening). The food was delicious as usual, but the service was subpar on this visit. It was 30 minutes until the three of us were brought drinks or bread, with other tables seated after us being served before us. Our waiter was very distracted, looking around and behind him while we ordered. Especially disappointing service for a special occasion dinner.
