From the moment that you walk through the door of our cosy, traditional local village pub and restaurant you will receive a very warm welcome. We have a great selection of wines including Bellefontaine Chardonnay and Vega Piedra Rioja and beers of many varieties with a new food menu that caters for most tastes.                                                     Impromptu visit which was really lovely. Excellent food, super friendly staff and customers, loads on lovely dogs with well behaved owners. Couldn’t have been nicer

                                                    Lovely pub with good ambience. Excellent service especially from the young gentleman that served us. A good range of ales and lagers. The steak pie was disappointing and expensive compared with other pubs in the Chilterns. The coffee was very good. Overall a little expensive. However the fish and chips looked excellent.

                                                    Another amazing Sunday lunch. All aspects of the meal excellent especially the cheesy leeks! Sat in side area of pub great but very noisy once a few more tables taken. Will definitely return.
