   Beautiful place. Asked for a quit table for anniversary but didn’t get one. Tried to address this but there were no options which was a shame. Service inconsistent in timing though efforts were excellent. Tried to take orders too soon, needed to settle. If all menus available to consult at the start, Soup excellent. Rösti lovely but very salty. Roast beef all vanished for two of us. Chicken lovely but again very salty and incredibly rich. Hard to eat it all. Choux bun excellent. Gin baba an enjoyable twist. Wine choices good except for rose. Would return knowing what to expect.

   Booked at the last minute, no problem fitting us in, but they were busy-it was a Wednesday! Great food, great service. Great vegan choices too. Would definitely recommend.

   I knew it would be good, but enjoyed it even more than I was expecting. The Inn is gorgeous, the food was excellent and I am going to book to go back soon, and stay next time.

   Fabulous meal and great service. We stayed for two nights and had dinner on the Saturday.

   Beautiful quality food and creative menu. Portions on the small side. Service attentive and friendly. Outdoor tables old, with a faint smell of sewage from the river. Plant pots from last year hanging around with grass thriving in them. To summarise, the surroundings didn’t live up to the food - was expecting perfection for the price and reputation.

   We sat outside as it was a lovely sunny day. We ate off of the main menu and the food was superb as always but the stand out dish was the Rhubarb Macaron which is one of the best desserts I have had. Always a pleasure to eat here, never disappointed.

    The service and food were excellent, we were in the upstairs dining room, it had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely make the effort to visit again.
