Drawing on Turkish heritage and tradition, Shish’s ethos is borne out of a desire to create a hub as the heart of the home, centred around the fire hearth where cooking and families come together and share in the occasion. The spacious restaurant lends itself to large gatherings, smaller group parties and more intimate dining occasions, with the option of private hire. Its slick interior, ambient lighting and booth seating lining the parameter of the restaurant provide the perfect setting for any occasion. Shish is a one of the first Dry Bars (No alcohol) in Edinburgh, stocking all the fine wines available, Champagne, Spirits, Popular Cocktails and Beers but all containing zero alcohol substitutes such as Zero percent Rum, Whiskey and Gin.

Omg this was my second time going and this time it was my birthday and if I tell you I had a blast you wouldn’t believe. It was just perfect. Danced and just had a blast… we played games and the staff just let us enjoy and have fun. At one point felt bad with the noise we made but no one complained, the other customers were happy, staff were happy and we were happy. Such a great feeling, great great feeling❤️❤️❤️. Loved every bit of it and looking forward to more visits there and more fun and laughter. Shish is the best. The food was on point as well, can’t fault them ❤️❤️❤️. We loved it

We always have a great time at Shish. Their lunch deal is fabulous, and the service is always attentive and friendly!

First time here and was really nice. Boys enjoyed the "pizza" and myself and hubby enjoyed the mixed grill for 2, only thing my hubby was disappointed in was lack of alcohol, though he did say the zero % alcohol house red wine was lovely 🤣 would definitely come back again

This is NOT shish (London) it’s a dry restaurant (no alcohol) expensive drinks & over cooked steak! Definitely would not recommend,avoid……I wondered why it was half empty on a Saturday evening!!!!

First class restaurant great and attentive staff Friendly and absolutely amazing food highly recommend the mixed grill. And no alcohol not a disappoint refreshing change

no alcohol which is fine for us we had a coke but they should put that on there website as some people wouldn’t go to a restaurant if they couldn’t have wine with there meal food came mine was cold ordered a lahmahan my husband had a Adana which was over cooked and dry and tasteless mushrooms very poor and rice was dry and boring didn’t enjoy it one bit came here after seeing this restaurant on tick tock very disappointing would never go back

We are an Italian family, with two kids, in Edinburgh for Holiday. We ordered some food for sharing (eggplants, hallumi) and salmon as main dish. Everything was excellent, including the service.
