   I eat here all the time and love it. But recently tried the new menu items, the whipped ricotta and the crispy rice tuna, and they both really fell flat. Was disappointing and didn’t finish it because of lack of flavor and odd textures. The bread for the ricotta didn’t go well, maybe a thicker focaccia would be better. Back to chicken here but glad I tried

   We arrived for our reservation and asked for as quiet a table as they could find. They accommodated us and still had us seated right on time. The food from beginning to end was excellent - full of flavor, just right portions, and quickly served even though the restaurant was definitely full. The butternut squash soup was particularly delicious and the cod was both flaky and moist. The service from everyone was happy, friendly, and just the proper amount of attention and energy. Pricing, IMO, is really fair for the quality of what you receive.

   Great spot for a quick but quality dinner on a weeknight. This place is so consistent. Love the whipped ricotta addition to the menu!

   Our waitress Olivia was so sweet and nice! She even gave us chocolate cookies on the house!! We will be back :)

   We love everything about Shy Bird: service, location, food except the very high level of noise, including loud music for a space that mostly welcome business lunches during weekdays.
