Five impeccable private dining rooms accommodate parties of a minimum of six to a maximum of 14 guests in Silk’s signature Chinese grandeur. Four rooms feature Chinese-inspired tapestry and walls decked in richly detailed wood carvings, and views of the Yarra River. The fifth private dining room – the Mongolian tent – induces sheer awe. Resplendent in a rich earthy palette fused with deep red, green and gold, the impressive Mongolian tent seats a minimum of eight and a maximum of 12 guests.

Excellent service with staff knowledgeable about food and wine. We had a champagne that was a bit flat and they replaced it without question, opening a new bottle in front of us. Food was delicious.

Returned to this great restaurant to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Service was excellant and the food was extremely good . The only issue that we both had was that the Peking Duck meat was a little dry. If you pick a banquet for your meal , make sure you let them know the time Druid’s between courses that you want otherwise the course come out very quickly Still a great establishment that we will return to.

Experience was exceptional. Food great and service was 2nd to none. Thought wine prices a bit expensive. We enjoyed the experience.

The food was exceptional. The wine list was excellent ranging from good value quality wine to expensive special selections.

The service is impeccable, the staff lovely, and the must have dishes are the Natural Oysters, and the spiced salt and pepper Calamari. They are both without a doubt the best I have ever had. Can’t recommend high enough!!!

Food was amazing!! This is our go-to Crown restaurant as the food is always exceptional. The duck pancakes as they are always a winner. Would also recommend the calamari, fried rice and black angus beef from their new menu. Only disappointment is the cocktails - they used to be really good but ever since they reopened after covid, they are much weaker and don’t feel the cocktails are value for money. Have been twice now and ordered 5x different cocktails, all very weak.
