   Half of steak Cooked more than other side, middle of steak - huge piece of tendon. Mac and cheese was very bland. Waiter would not stop taking about his personal life. I didn’t go there to spend $300 to talk to waiter. Overall , mediocre.

   I was looking for a place to celebrate my daughter's 50tj birthday. I was willing to take her anywhere in the north Dallas area but this is where she wanted to go. We were not disappointed. We - a party of 6- had a fantastic dinner and the service was impeccable. We were on a Wednesday night and I took a chance that we might be able to book a private room- the Poker room which seats up to ten. Britteny was extremely helpful in arranging the Poiker Room for our private dining. Matt, our server, ensured a memorable evening. 5/6 had a steak and they wrecked cooked to perfection. The appetizers were excellent and we especially enjoyed the ahi tuna and crab cakes. I rarely order a steak out because I prefer to cook it myself at home but I will say these steaks were just amazing. Perfect temperature and the Silve Fox topping with blue cheese was outstanding. This is a must visit for a special event or just a pampered night out. I highly recommend the Silver Fox and thank them for a wonderful evening.

   The food and service were excellent. The filets very very tender and well seasoned. The creamed corn and spinach excellent, as well. We were seated in the bar area, which was lovely but too loud. Next time we will request a quieter area.

   Silver Fox never disappoints. Great service and fantastic food keep this restaurant at the top of my list. The heirloom tomato salad was a great starter. My baseball cut filet was juicy and cooked to perfection. Mushrooms and Brussel Sprouts as sides added to the deliciousness. Creme Brulee and Bread Pudding for dessert capped a wonderful meal. The martini and bottle of wine were also wonderful. Can't wait to go back!

   Wonderful service, food, ambience. Had a party of 7 and we could hold conversations without raising our voices.

   Great atmosphere, comfy booths. Good was amazing! Best steak I've ever had. So tender I almost didn't have to chew!

   Regular visitor here but they missed the mark on this visit. Even though there were only 2 other couuple at the bar when we arrived, the bartender was very slow to serve us a drink. She took our order and prepared one drink for me and then it took her almost 10 minutes to get the drink for my wife while she was talking to other guests and even served the couple that sat down after us before we got our drink. It was very poor service for a bartender working as a fine restaurant. When we sat at our table, we were seated over 10 minutes before anyone came to our table to serve us water and get a drink order. When we ordered our dinner, our waiter came back to our table 2 times to clarify what we had ordered and mentioned items that we had not ordered. He was confused many times through the evening. Our salad and soup came out soon after we ordered and after we finished, we ended up waiting almost 25 minutes for our dinner to come out. The 2 couples that sat near us and were seated after we had finished our soup and salad ended up getting their meal at the same time as us. After we finally got our meal, the sides were no good. It seems they had been sitting out a while. The waiter didnt come by to check on us after our meal arrived until I had already finished eating. Overall, for a place that thinks they are top of the class, their service was very poor on this evening. When a manager asked me about our evening and I mentioned the poor service, insteadd of apologizing, he immediately goes into the 'well we served so many people this weekend for Valentine's Day' as if that is an excuse for poor service. We have been many times on the same weekend and it has never been anywhere close to this poor. When you have a manager making excuses as this one, it filters down to the entire staff.

   Unfortunately I did not enjoy our evening. I came in knowing I wanted to get a burger. When I went to order, my server promptly said they were out. That’s annoying- for a high end restaurant… you would think they would be better at inventory management but I get it. Maybe they had a had an unexpected amount of orders over valentines. I then order a wedge and a crabcake. I finish dinner and I see another server bringing a burger to another table. When I addressed this with the server he said they preordered it before me. Didn’t add up to me. I give them thumbs down for not having adequate inventory and then trying to act like people pre order burgers .

    Always a good choice. Excellent staff. Low lighting and quiet music. Good wine selection. And the steaks! We also had scallops this time. Amazing! Liked our waiter a lot. He and several others have been there a long time and are very knowledgeable about the menu. Appreciate that we can see the same people over time. Thanks again Silver Fox!
