Sister is a restaurant project from Duro Hospitality. Sister will live in the halls of the famed Grape, a Dallas icon for over 40 years. She will serve loosely Italian-inspired neighborhood fare, wood-fired meats and fish, daily house made pasta, and lightly Mediterranean inspired cuisine. The design will feel like a family Trattoria that has grown through the years including collected memorabilia giving the space a quirky and playful feeling. Sister will be a relaxed and comfortable neighborhood spot for every day. Sister is open seven nights per week.

Fabulous first visit. Victor the bartender was superb, food was very flavorful and unique. Atmosphere is comfortable retro whimsical.

Our first time here and definitely not our last. Such a wonderful dinner experience. Our server, Jordan was wonderful and made great recommendations. We really enjoyed the beet and avocado salad with focaccia bread. The star of our dinner was the clam pasta. We loved it so much we ordered another dish of it while eating. Our sommelier was terrific as well making some great wine suggestions. He even took time to share with us his favorite regions and which regions to expect going forward that will produce great wines in the next few years. We are already planning on what to order when we return with our adult sons.

The service and menu were outstanding. The restaurant itself is so quaint and welcoming.

Food was fantastic. However, this was the first time service was so so. Got there at 8:00 PM and it was busy. We had to wait at Cafe Duro for a while for our table. We were seated and not assigned a server. We had to beckon for one from the hostess as servers passed back and forth by us. Once we got our server, drinks were offered and served and then there was another lapse in service. Service eventually got better so I will chalk it up to a very busy day for them. We will still be back for the superb food and ambience.

Very good experience. My gf and I ordered the Bluefin tartare, grilled focaccia, pesto pasta and wild boaranaise… we loved every dish. The ambiance was perfect for a Mediterranean Italian style menu offering a cozy and intimate setting. Definitely recommend.

My partner and I truly enjoyed our birthday dinner at Sister, great food with manageable portions. Properly seasoned and always thoroughly cooked through, the food was top notch and my partner and I pretended we were good judges and because we rarely eat out, it was nice to have quality food and quality service down to the valet. Thx to our hostess for making ori birthday's fun and memorable and the dual birthday desserts!

The whole experience was great. Phenomenal food, great service and the ambience and hum of the restaurant is wonderful.
