DINE ABOVE BANFF Anchored at over 2,200 meters above sea level, the Banff Gondola’s Sky Bistro sits on the summit of Sulphur Mountain. With six Rocky Mountain ranges as a backdrop, this remarkable restaurant promises an exhilarating gondola ride followed by a mountain top dining experience. Lunch and dinner menus celebrate the panorama of Canadian cuisine, with ingredients drawn from both ocean coasts, plus wholesome prairie staples including world-renowned Alberta beef. Complemented by local wine, beer and spirits, it makes for a unique dining experience above Banff.

    This was one of the finest dining experiences I've been fortunate to have! My wife and I came for my Birthday dinner and opted for the Chefs Selection. Simply to die for. We also opted in for the wine pairings and they did not disappoint. Not only were we lucky enough to get a window view (first come first serve) but the attention to detail and service by our server was not to be surpassed. Thank you for bringing together an awesome birthday. A memory i'll personally never forget. Will certainly return again! (The short rib was perfect!) I normally do not gush but I simply had an awesome experience!

    A wonderful experience! We ordered both salads and split them between the table. The portions are bigger in size and we left 1/2 of our main course on the table when we left. We were too stuffed to consume any more due to the portion size. The service was exceptional, Mandy made our experience. The view was unbelievable and as the clouds shifted, it brought surprise of the undulating beauty throughout our lunch experience.

    Breathtaking views. All servers owere so attentive. A must for the cocktail menu alone. Lunch was nice also, slightly more spenny than what it’s worth and quite small menu selection.

    Of course, the view is spectacular, and although we had a window table, it can be seen through all the seating. Service was just right, friendly and present when needed. The food was excellent and memorable. Note, the sides (enhancements) are large enough to share. A meal to remember.
