We were excited to finally try this new establishment for our anniversary. The restaurant is on the 13th floor which makes for a great view of the city on one side and harbor on the other. The sunset was beautiful. Service was attentive and knowledgeable. It is a rather small menu and they were out of one item but there was still plenty to choose from. We started with the shrimp cocktail which was delicious and Parker rolls, which were rather tiny. For entrees we did the duck dish and lobster gnocchi with sides of spinach and carrots. The spinach exceeded expectations and the carrots were cooked to perfection. The dirty rice served with the duck was surprisingly complex, in a good way. We ordered the tableside bananas foster which made for a great show and it tasted just as delicious. Highly recommend this new restaurant!

The Sky Room blew us away...in design and especially the food. We feasted on duck liver, crab cake, Mikate Mushrooms, Lobster and the bananas foster. I am from NOLA and can attest to the authenticity and impressive presentation and taste of the dessert! Every bite of everything was note-worthy. The lighting is perfect for romance or a fun group.

Augustine, our server, was great! We were celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary and the staff, food, and service was just like we remember it being at the Sky room! Strongly recommended the Steak Tartare, The beef Wellington and the bananas foster! Jesus the bartender upstairs was awesome too!

We were excited to visit the newly renovated Sky Room and it didn’t disappoint. Great ambience, food and service. View of city was awesome.

We had our first visit and New Year dinner and it was very nice. We received great service and the ambience was amazing. We came a bit early, and were offered to await our time at the bar or be seated early. We decided to be seated early and were sat at a beautiful window seat overlooking the holiday lights at the LB Convention Center. I had the Betty Paige and it was delicious, the champagne car was to either take as a shot or add in. I chose to add-in to savor it with my meal. Specialties we chose were the Crispy Maitake Mushrooms, which I would choose over and over again! And the Flannery Beef Hangar Steak, which was also quite good. We will be back for more cocktails and fare. It was amazing!

My husband and I had a lovely dinner before ringing in the New Year. Taylor was very professional, friendly, and attentive. The food was delicious. We are so happy to be back at the Skyroom. We look forward to many more dinners. Happy New Year!

Spectacular dining experience! And such a cool view of Long Beach. The lobster is a must. Service was outstanding. We will be back!

Excellent meal for NYE. I appreciate it was not a set menu and just the regular menu. The table settings, drinks and food were all outstanding. Best fish I have had in along time. My husband’s steak was outstanding. The Cesar, roles and duck liver parfait was amazing! Great views to boot. Our only points of feedback are: (1) There are three items on the menu that require two people to order. We would have had two of them if could order for a single order. Other restaurants can do those items for 1 so not sure why they have to be for two here; (2) while service was good, I hope they continue to improve as many would expect more at that price point. Our waiter was excellent but at times the rest of the wait staff was a bit intrusive & brisk. (3) Wine list is rather limited. Bring your own bottle if want something outstanding. We will definitely be back!!!
