We made a reservation on OpenTable about 8 days before the date. We requested a birthday /special table. When we arrived on time for our reservation We were taken to the last back table all the way around the corner next to all the heating fans and loud noises of the building. When we asked for a different table, there were none others available and the hostess was not willing to accommodate us anywhere else or even check to see what the other availability might be. She left us to fend for ourselves at the bar. Luckily We found two spots at the bar. The bartender took our drink order and when he took our food order we asked if we could add a protein to one of the dishes and he just shook his head at us. We weren't sure if he was kidding or being serious. We asked him what the shaking of the head meant and he said "We can't" . I understand that certain things can't be done at every restaurant, but it was the way in which the message was delivered that was disappointing and annoying. The food was good when we received it. I had the pork belly risotto, however there was too much risotto on the plate. It's really overwhelming. My friend had the chicken and it was very good. However For the cost of the food and drinks, when you combine it with the unhelpful host staff and the inconsiderate bartender, The overall experience is underwhelming. The only consistent thing about this space is the view. We are local guests, My phone number is local, but we weren't given any consideration or any assistance to ensure that we would come back or that we would speak positively about this restaurant. Ultimately restaurants like this don't care if people come back for a second time around, let alone locals. It's truly unfortunate because this is a wonderful space that deserves better service and experience. It's also next to the new Cirque du Soleil show so they are really missing out on capturing that market.

景色がきれいでハッピーアワーもあると言う事で来店しました。ただワイキキの16時はまだまだ日差しが強くテラス席は灼熱でした。サンセットまでいようと思いましたが我慢できず1時間でお店を出ました。お店側は傘を貸してくれたり親切でしたよ。その時間帯のドレスコードはほぼ無しで大丈夫そうでした。

Honestly don't know why they take reservations when it is open seating. You also have no server and must order from the bar, it was not a spot to spend my 36th birthday as I had hoped, and was much happier with my food truck meal after the over priced drinks, and bussing my own glassware.

Sky Waikiki was a VIBE, in literal sense! My reservation was for 5:30pm, so I was able to view the sunset from my seat. I sat in the bar area. Rooftop vibes, sunset, good weather, and 2 virgin mai tai drinks...you can't beat that, lol

I was attended by JP. He was attentive and made great recommendations. Oysters were delicious. Great sunset vibe. Young ladies in front not as inviting. Although I had a reservation, walk ups were seated promptly and attended to. Disconnection here. Overall, would recommend this place for location and must do, for the views.
