   Service was outstanding! Lovely old historical building. Eggs Benedict on rosemary sourdough was so yummy. Everything is good!!

   I made a reservation 5 days prior for brunch. We were seated in a back corner near a stack of high chairs and a speaker playing music loud enough that I couldn’t hear my daughter across the table. The food was fine. Our server was great! Disappointing to make a reservation and then get seated in what felt like an after thought type of table.

   Hi Erin- We are sorry you did not like your table location. It sounds like you were seated in the downstairs area in a booth, which is a often requested location. Did you ask your server about being moved or to turn the music down? If you did not say anything, no one would have known you did not like the location, especially since that is a desirable table for many guests. Sunday brunch was very busy yesterday, so we again apologize if we were not able to move you to another location.

   The service was kind and attentive. The food was delicious and they had gluten free options for my sister who needs that. Sometimes gluten free buns are awful but hers was tasty and had the texture of regular bread so she was very happy. Would definitely recommend

   A superb time was had sitting adjacent to the warm fire and dining on delicious Brussels, halibut and chips to finalize with expression cheese cake!! Service was perfect all by charming staff and the cozy vibe surrounded by dark wooden elements makes it a great evening experience!

    I’ve always enjoyed Skylarks & always make reservations. Friday I had made reservations for lunch & it was confirmed w/ a confirmation #. When I arrive, there was no record of a reservation. I had the proof in writing but she could not find it. So we were taken downstairs. I much prefer upstairs but that was not an option. Is there a reason my reservation did not go thru? Or do I need to make a reservation on the phone. Thank you

    Hi Dotti- We are glad you have always enjoyed your visits to Skylark's Cafe. I believe I see two things that caused the confusion. One, the reservation was made for Thursday, Feb 27th, at 11:30 am, not Friday. Also, the reservation was under a different name. I also don't see anything in the reservation that requests a certain seating location. We certainly attempt to accommodate requests, but there are times when it is not possible.
