Slope Room is an Alpine Bistro focused on the connection between Rocky Mountain farmers and ranchers. Pasture-raised, sustainable proteins, and locally sourced produce are front and center at the sophisticated yet cozy restaurant and bar. The decor pays homage to the sexy and dangerous allure of the Old West with a decidedly modern twist on the traditional new American Steakhouse menu by Executive Chef Jason Brumm.

    Everyone at the table loved their food. The lamb papardelle was excellent, and my favorite was the short ribs. Even my kid’s buttered shells pasta was perfectly cooked and delicious!

    Some of the most perfectly prepared food Vail has to offer. The hamachi crudo was outstanding but the bison ribeye was off the chart excellent! You can’t go wrong with the amazing service and perfectly curated dishes.

    Food was worst we have had at Slope. Venison seasoning was way too spicy and salty. The cod dish looked like something the kitchen threw together at the last moment and the cod itself was too small and bland.

    Great service. Comfortable seating. And superlative food. How can simple corn bread be so good? Tuna poke with oily generous sized bits that melt in your mouth. Lamb ragu, trout, pork chop all great. Even sides like Brussels sprouts and mushrooms were top notch. Expensive, but in line with similar Vail restaurants. At least you’ll get a memorable delicious meal at this one.

    We loved dinner here. The staff is outstanding and are on their A game. The food and presentation was fantastic. Great location in the Vail Village. Would def recommend!

    We celebrated Christmas at the Slope Room for dinner. The food was amazing, the waitress was extremely helpful and friendly, and the vibe was immaculate throughout the entire area. Will definitely eat here again the next time we’re in Vail!

    Great experience for our family. Worth the splurge! Nice staff, waitress gave great recos, my faves were the Mr. Myagi cocktail and the pork belly appetizer.
