   Our server Samantha was so attentive, helpful and kind. Food was delicious.

   Has to re-order 3x because they were out of each meal I tried to order!!. When meal finally came it was very rare. Server was no where to be found to ask for it to be cooked more. Didn’t offer and apology or anything on the house for my issues

   I was appalled at the volume, SO noisy. Deafening to the point of distraction, we could hardly hear each other certainly affected our ability to appreciate each other's company. We were celebrating our anniversary and no champagne toast; we are LONG time customers, this is our annual celebration dinner and this is the first time that we have NOT received a comlimentary champagne toast AND not a complimentary dessert. Shocking. Food was "adequate" at best..... a far cry from the level we've grown to expect over decades l, case in point, sautéed mushrooms, there were 3 mushrooms (yes 3) and a few pieces of onions. In the past it was a bowl full of a variety of mushrooms. How sad. So disappointing. Never again. Money wasted and worse. Huge disappointment. We mourn what was. My husband's prime rib was SEARED! When is prime rib seared? No au jus, 3 half fingerling potatoes, 3 scrawny asparagus and the ugliest pop overs. This kitchen staff is out of their league. My black and blue filet was overcooked. Evrn my daughter warned the waiter how fussy i am about my steak. The truffle fries had SO much salt we couldn't even eat them. Only saw the waiter at the end of the meal. Sadly my husband forbids me to send dishes back and complain, he doesnt want to be embarrassed in his opinion. ...he managed a restaurant in his youth. The food appears to have fallen quite a lot from its former level. S&W appears to have fallen from its former status IMO to a lesser level.... now along the lines of a Ruth Chris (I would never eat there). So long Smith & Wollensky you are a memory of good times past.

   Enjoyed an early dinner. Had a very nice bottle of Stags Leap Merlot. Noticed that all the prices had gone up since a week ago. They also have some new items on the menu. Since it was a Saturday they offered the prime rib so I ordered that. My guest wasnt very hungry so she had the grilled octopus that she found delicious. My prime rib was properly medium rare but I think it could have benefited from longer roasting. The meat comes with popovers but they are too eggy and soggy to enjoy. Our server Filipe was excellent and he was well assisted by Marco who is always extremely efficient and hard working. Had a nice chat with manager Sam who is always accommodating.

   Boom C., our server, made our experience a pleasant one. She took care to see that our needs were met and remembered us from our last visit. We look forward to dining here again.

   Aaron was an amazing server , very great vibes and energy and took care of us very well. He did well recommending drinks and entrees as it was my first time visiting.

    We had a fun evening at S&W. Initially led to upper floor but were then seated on lower level when we asked to change. Lower level much better ambiance and energy. I think A Team staff down there as well. I always like using the wine selection Ipad. Much more informative type of wine list. My guest had the sea bass and loved it. I had the seared yellowfin which had a nice zing on its surface and properly rare. I asked for spinach instead of coconut fried rice. This made the dish even more delicious and appealing. Good service. Even the assistant servers/bus guys are really on the ball!
