   The BBQ is always amazing at Smokecraft. My partner and I visit atleast every three(3) months or so and it has been consistent with our customer service experience. Also, the food is 10/10. We come for brunch each time and the mimosa flight, specialty cocktails are flavorful. A lot of smoked drink options to choose from. We love the smoked pulled chicken, wings, burnt ends, corn bread muffins (comes out fresh) , pulled chicken Benedict, BBQ street corn and Texas omelette, just to name a few ✨✨

   I had high hopes for this restaurant, which opened during the pandemic and has survived in Clarendon for five years. My hopes were dashed when I found lots of little pieces of shell in my crab cakes, and (aside from the shells) the crab cakes were mushy on the inside. I mentioned the problem to the waiter, and a manger came over to inquire, but in the end, they didn’t remove the crab cakes from the bill. I didn’t ask them to, but any self-respecting restaurant would have done so. My dining companions enjoyed their BBQ, but at the end of the meal, the waiter (who was very nice) realized he’d forgotten to provide the selection of BBQ sauces. We won’t be going back.

   The food was very good, and the atmosphere was nice. Great portions, although there were not a lot of customers. I've dined here many times before and always had a pleasant experience.

   The waitress was very attentive. The smoked chicken was enough for 2 people and it was delicious. My preference is shredded collards but these were good flavorful with a little kick! I got the nachos with smoked chicken I prefer layered nachos so you get all the components in most bites but they were good. We also got the brisket egg rolls that were really good. They provide little corn muffins with a flavored butter which were good as well. We would return for another visit.

   Need to figure out long-term issue with chlorine-like smell indoors. But the cocktails and food are very high quality. And where the restaurant absolutely shines like a diamond is value. Money for service and good quality meats hard to beat.

   I had the Mimosa Fight and the Texas Omelet prime brisket / roasted red peppers / caramelized onions / spicy bbq sauce / cheddar & jack cheese I also had the key lime which had a smokers flavor. I highly recommend. Everything was wonderful.

   Food was regular BBQ cuisine, nothing spectacular. Drinks were “ok” at best.

    This was our third time and I have to say that we've enjoyed the food all three times. This visit, however, was a bit disappointing. We went on Valentine's Day and ordered from the prix fixe menu. We were there over 2 hours for 3 courses so we spent a lot of time waiting for our food. We could tell that the servers were stressed and it was obvious that they were under-staffed. In no way do we think the servers were the reason for slow service. I think that the issue was that they (restaurant/management) also offered their full menu, and weren't prepared for a full house. I have been to many special occasions where prix fixe menus were offered, but my experience has been that the restaurants used this as a great way to simplify the menu on a night likely to be very busy - like Valentine's Day. I think it's a great idea and every other experience I've had with them (prix fixe menus) indicated that the restaurant was well-prepared to execute the menu in an efficient manner. We watched as people ordering off the regular menu seemed to get their food faster, which was really frustrating. A couple other minor issues were disappointing, like being the only table that didn't seem to get the basket of corn muffins. I got a refill of my club soda and it came in rocks glass the second time, which I assumed was because they ran out of glasses. They charged me for 2 drinks, even though one was half the size. I will probably eat there again, but it will be hard to trust that if they have any specials. Again, I have to say that the servers were very nice and were obviously doing the best they could under the circumstances.
