Originally established in 1974, Smuggler's Inn has been serving Alberta prime rib to several generations. Always a popular place for Calgarians to gather and celebrate, we are the preferred dining choice for birthdays, anniversaries, milestones or just meeting friends and family. Our prime rib is the main feature of our diverse menu, available all day, every day any way you like it. From a 9oz. prime rib, all the way up to a 18oz cut, our succulent prime rib is sure to please any appetite. Of course there is a creative selection of steaks, chicken and seafood to satisfy everyone. It would be a great idea if you saved room for one of our delicious desserts...even if you plan on sharing.

        Thank you for bringing back the weekend brunch buffet! Best in town and the prime rib is special. The good news was also that the supper salad bar is returning. We'll be back again and again!

        Very inattentive wait staff. I personally had to take dirty plates up to the bar and politely ask for them to take them away. Also, waiter introduced himself almost 30 minutes into the brunch. I didn't even know we had a waiter as we were self serving ourselves throughout. Rarely ever checked up on us even after walking past us several times. I'm appalled to say the least.

        It used to be a great place to eat. Not so much anymore. Fir the price everything was just average.

        We had to sit in the bar even though I reserved a table specifically at Smugglers because the reservation was for regular seating. The waiter was terrible, He seemed like he didn't want to be there which made us feel like we didn't want to be there either. The food was good and a decent value. The bar was not as noisy as some places so it wasn't a total loss.

        We requested a booth and got one facing directly into one else’s table (very awkward). It was freezing and had cold air blowing over us. It took an hour for our food and had a difficult time getting our waitress to come to our table. Overall.. Food was good but everything else needs improvement.

        Left lots to be desired, food was way overpriced, menu was very small with few choices. Food was dry and small portions leaving us all hungry when we left,Waiters were unprofessional and untrained. This place was good once upon a time long ago but turned into a real disaster! We won’t be returning here and what happened to the salad bar? That was one of the main selling points! My advice is to get rid of the unprofessional staff and return to your roots become the smugglers that everyone likes not the disappointment that it has become!

        Amazing quality for prime rib, pastry and sweet treats!!!!! I wish there was more selection of lunch menu (only two items, beef soup and prime rib) and I had hoped for french toast. Quality of food was excellent during our visit. The scrambled eggs could have been less watery. Overall food was amazing quality and taste.
