The lift was fun. We were seated in a big sofa facing the window with an incredible view of the Cathedral and the rooftops of Canterbury. The waitress asked if we wanted the children's menu, but we said "no thank you" and we ordered our food and drinks from the brunch menu. Abby's burger was so big she could hardly hold it let alone eat it, but she managed it. Hazel and Poppy's fish and chips were so big it probably broke EU fishing quota regulations. We all loved the food , the staff were brilliant and all agreed that the assistant manager was the best looking in Canterbury. We all want to come again. From twins Abby and Hazel and cousin Poppy (All aged 10)

I booked a table here for my friends birthday. I accidentally booked in the restaurant and not just drinks. We were told we had to buy a main meal each in order to stay there, and could not go into the drinks area, if we did we would be charged £10 each, this would not come off of our overall bill. We suggested that we would move to the bar, that was half empty, and spend the minimum charge that we would’ve spent on a meal. This was not an option, the manager had no empathy for a simple mistake and charged us the £10 each. It was very poor customer service, the bar and restaurant were not full and they could accommodate us for drinks instead, this just shows how little authority the manager has over the policy over a simple mistake, which could’ve been easily rectified. Had we have stayed, we would’ve spent more than that £20, but due to the poor service and attitude, we chose to leave and spend our money elsewhere.

A modern, spacious, warming atmosphere. Great views over Canterbury City Centre and the Cathedral. Good selection of food and drinks. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Will definitely visit again.
