Society is an energetic and fun restaurant and bar located in Tempe on the corner of University and Rural next-door to the Tempe Improv. Society offers inventive Italian and Mediterranean cuisine created by Chef Armando Aguirre. We offer our full dinner menu daily from 4pm to 1:30am with Happy Hour Sunday-Thursday 4pm to 6pm and Reverse Happy Hour Wednesday night from 10PM-12AM. Society is a stunning oasis in the desert with a large 28 seat illuminated rose quartzite bar top with an extensive wine list and creative house cocktails. We have plush booths, couches and a separate dining room area. When visiting Society we want you to escape with us and enjoy our hospitality!

We were a party of 8, so we ordered a variety of meals and everyone’s food was delicious. This was arguable one of the best restaurants we’ve visited on our trip. Our waitress Bailee was amazing. Will definitely return and recommend to others.

We ordered the Chef's Vodka pasta, Scallops, Lasagne and Pork Belly app and everything was amazing. Pair that with half off bottle of wine, and great service and I can honestly say all 4 of us were impressed and that is extremely rare in restaurant dining unfortunately. We will definitely be back.

Pretty restaurant in great University Ave location. In visiting my son and booked it based on other reviews. We ordered meatballs and arancini as appetizer. Waiter graciously said he’d send out 4 of each instead of usual 3 so we might all have one. Arancini was very good. Meatballs were dry dense and not a lot of taste. My son said his burger was good. His girlfriend liked her mushroom pappardelle. The lasagna was tasteless and not enough sauce. The pesto was not good - took 3 bites and left the rest. Very disappointed based on the online reviews

This place never disappoints! Have been there many times and service and food are always spectacular. We had meatball appetizer, chef's vodka pasta, salmon, Brussel sprout salad and more. All were outstanding and filling. Christmas decorations added to the ambience, with icicle lights hanging over the incredible quartz bar. Perfect place for any occasion!

Michael r was our waiter and he was fantastic! He made my friends birthday celebration feel special and his food recommendations were excellent. The food was delicious and the ambience was very pretty! I would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone celebrating a special occasion.

First visit to Society which we really enjoyed. Space is eclectically decorated and comfortable. Our waiter, Michael, was superb - professional and personable. Happy hour drinks and food were a great deal. Main courses are very large and easily shareable (pesto pasta, crispy chicken and lasagna were all delicious). Well worth a repeat visit in a convenient downtown Tempe location with plenty of free parking.

The food was delicious. My husband and I ordered the avocado caesar salad. We did the 1/2 size and it was a generous portion. It was delicious. He order pesto pasta with shrimp. His dish was delicious. It was a generous portion so he brought some home. I had the alfredo chicken and it was a very generous portion. I was able to bring half of it home. It was delicious. We went on a Sunday so they had a half bottle wine special. It was great to pair with our pasta dishes. We loved the atmosphere. Our service was excellent. This is a great place to eat if you are attending a performance at the ASU Gammage theatre.

not sure what this vegas inspired place wants to be....the tvscreens with athanksgiving scene made no sence with the vegas club decor. Excellent food and service.. front reception could use some smiles training and engagement.
