Join us at Sodafish for our premium sitting on New Years Eve. Arrival drinks with oysters and canapés at 9pm just in time for the early fireworks. Servers constantly forgot about us and made us wait 20-30 minutes per dish in the set menu. Their slow service meant that our dinner was 3 hours long, ruining our night. A server had the audacity to ask us what our plans were for the rest of the night knowing full well that they kept us an hour after the entire town closed for the night (including the restaurant itself!). I will not be coming back and I cannot recommend this restaurant.

My partner and I ate there last Friday we both enjoyed our meals however she became very ill that night and Saturday/sunday Very disappointed

Superbly presented and interesting seafood on the set menu and excellent wine list including some great local drops. Service was enthusiastic, cheerful and efficient. A wonderful setting on the waterfront overlooking some of the fishing fleet and also a perfect place to enjoy the sunset. Considering the high standard of the food, it was great value for money.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Sodafish. Everything from the friendly greeting upon arrival, the delicious cocktails and wines, incredibly tantalising food sourced locally resulted in a memorable dining experience. We would recommend Sodafish to all who appreciate amazing, fresh and innovative food.

Sehr gutes Essen - nicht die normalen 08/15 Gerichte, die man sonst meistens in Australien erhält. Das Dessert Affogato, war sensationell.

Oysters were average at best Fish and chips ordinary, flathead also ordinary, Asparagus side was a standout. Fairly ordinary overall for a very expensive meal

We did the $59 each deal which was two entrees and a main course. All excellent and lots of tantalising flavours . The highlight was the pickled gurnard entree. We added the $10 dessert of canoloni which we shared which was just the right sweetness to finish the meal. We booked for 6pm and enjoyed watching the sunset. We noted that there were dishes for non seafood people as well as vegetarians.

Our main course of Rockling and John Dory was fresh and beautifully prepared. Sadly it took 40 minutes to arrive. Oysters were over priced for the size and quality . Staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable.
