   Ristorante con carni spettacolari. Ovviamente costoso, ma come del resto tutto qui a New York. Grande atmosfera e ottimo servizio.

   We loved Sofia's! The service was a little slow, but we were on vacation so it wasn't that big of a deal. The food was delicious. They were very accommodating for my many food allergies. We will definitely be back next time we visit the city.

   Chose Sofia's due to the significant amount of positive reviews, but was really disappointed in the food. The calamari was just bad -- tough and chewy, warm not hot. Every pasta we got was bland. Not terrible but just bland. No salt or pepper on the table to add and make it right. The bread and oil came 1-2 minutes after our entrees, which was strange timing. The herbs in the oil were dense and packed in tight at the bottom of the dipping dish, making it difficult to get herbs without soaking your bread in the oil. The bread and salad were good.

   We had the pre-ordered family style dinner for 4 and it was more than enough food. We got to try so much food, everything was delicious. The service was next level, the celebration was great. I would definitely recommend and will go again soon.

   Was hoping for a far less touristy experience. The laminated menus were a tacky prelude for the subpar food. The food was so bland and tasteless. The risotto was lava hot and the broccoli was lukewarm. Both tasted like cardboard. A culinary sucker-punch.

    02/2025: dad / daughter (age 13) date. Food was good, staff were attentive, prices were about as expected $$$, atmosphere was casual but vibe was really cool plus had live music.
