The waiter was very helpful. He advised us what to order & he was very attentive. The food was tasty. My only criticism is my veal was a little tough. I had the veal florentine. My husband had the special which was shrimp scampi. It was delicious. We will return.

Great italian comfort food. We had the meatball appetizer with some incredible fresh and hot bread. My wife had the pork osso bucco and I had the chicken marsala. Both were great and the pasta was very fresh. Timothy helped our table and couldn't have been better. We mistakingly thought this was downtown in the vicinity of St George Street and avoided it during Nights of Lights. It's actually a couple of minutes south of the Bridge of Lions with parking. We will definitely go back.

Another great meal at Sogno! This was my birthday with a party of eight. It was easy to book the large party via open table. Great menu, attention from the owner, great drinks. Best Italian in St Augustine.

This is the second time my wife and I have dined here. We love the atmosphere, but more importantly, we recognize the true authentic Italian food as only people from NJ/NY can. They have a fantastic and diverse menu, a great wine list and excellent service. What more could one want? I had the cod which was cooked perfectly, so juicy and fresh. My wife had the lobster ravioli with a delicious red sauce. Both of our salads were delicious as was the bread that the owners get from Tribeca. If you want authentic, delicious Italian, this is the place.

The food was great, I had the octopus salad, lobster ravioli and crème brûlée! All tasted wonderful and was beautifully presented

We brought some good friends to Sogno for their first visit and it could not have been more perfect for them as well as us. We have been so Sogno many times and not only is the food excellent but the service and ambiance are amazing. You can’t go wrong with this restaurant.

This is our second time dining at Sogno. For a special occasion, it is one of the better St. Augustine restaurants. Calamari, one of the tastiest we have eaten. Their special goat cheese salad was wonderful. Entrees…the Cod and Veal dishes that we each had, were delicious. Sogno was nicely decorated for the holidays. The wait staff was pleasant and efficient. Will definitely be dining here again.

We were disappointed. Ordered two fillets. Send them both back, tasted more like sirloins and just yucky. Switched to chicken parm. I’d look elsewhere in St. Augustine, if I were you.

Oxtail Ragu was outstanding as the main course, Golden Beet salad and Mussels were delicious starters paired with a great red wine selection makes this a sure return. The owner also came around and talked with us, the music played was soft making a nice ambiance.

Having walked over the Bridge of Lions & down the busy street to celebrate NYE dinner with my family of 5, our first impression was a great one. Beautiful space, festive yet perfect lighting and just the right amount of energy kicked up a notch by the keyboard player in main dining room. We were greeted & seated promptly & had superb service throughout the evening by Lilli. It seems they had a special NYE menu that likely featured their fan favs as it was more limited than the published menu. They had nice salad options & we ordered 2 specials Apple/gorgonzola, 1 roasted beet and 1 capresse. We considered them more like salad entrees for their size and price @ $18 and except for the capresse where the tomatoes lacked flavor, everybody really enjoyed the freshness and flavors of their salads. A dinner salad option would be a good add for those wanting a smaller sized salad to complement the meal. Each of us selected a different entree of linguine & clams, chicken parmigiana, veal florentine, pan seared cod, oxtail papparedelle. Oxtail & cod were the best dishes overall, however, the cod was to be served with broccolini and fingerling potatoes (in lieu of the pancetta risotto due to allergy) & was substituted with green beans & without explanation from the staff but the beans were good. The remaining 3 dishes had a nice presentation yet lacked overall flavor. Overall Sogno is 5 stars for their space, ambience, service, and their food & wine menus which on our evening had many of the classics one might expect. With refinement to a few of the dishes, they could hit the mark for their mission to serve delish and affordable food, however, at their price points, this would not be a place we would eat weekly but we would certainly give them another try when back in St Augustine.
