   Great experience. Big thanks to the staff and the manager of the restaurant. I always leave satisfied. My favorite thing is sashimi plate. Always fresh and delicious

   Restaurant needs to be cleaned and made more attractive if it wants to be more than a take out. Lunch cost was as much as more attractive and disciplined restaurant service.

   Tuesday night six thirty p m for quick sushi before a show. The place only had 3 tables filled. Yet the service was sporattic, unattentive, the waitress was slow in bringing requested ice water. she got our ordered items wrong . My Tuna sashimi came out room temperature which made me fear if safe to eat. We ordered shrimp tempura roll, but instead got salmon roll cream cheese tempura . Had to ask for ginger and Wasabi. Are waitress Did try to make up one of the deficiencies by bringing extra eel, Which was appreciated. And was the tastiest thing we had that night.... Overall I don't think I would come back For a pre show dinner.

   Coming from the Doral location to the downtown location there are a couple things that stand out. Lighting indoors is STERILE in an otherwise cute and welcoming environment. Too bright and too white, either dim lights or use warm lighting or both. Corner of the bar has turned into a takeout service section so you feel like you’re in the wrong place when you walk into the restaurant. Outdoor seating is really where this place shines, although there are only 3 tables available. There is space for at least 2 other tables. Lighting outside is done great and music is awesome. The two ladies that assisted my girlfriend and I on our Valentine’s Day were AMAZING. The lady with glasses gave us great recommendations, brought my girlfriend a rose and was super quick. Food was amazing, we tried new things we normally wouldn’t and had a great time.

   This literally was the best sushi I ever ate. The lobster roll was fantastic. Our appetizers were good too. All the food was complemented by a delicious Peyrissol Rose. This was a surprise because it was our first time but it won’t be our last!

    Después de cuatro años fuera de Miami, regreso a deleitarme con las delicias q ofrece Sokai. Hoy tuve la oportunidad de disfrutar en una locación nueva para mi, Downtown. La experiencia fue fascinante. La comida exquisita, el ambiente acogedor y la atención inigualable… Valentina me hizo sentir como en casa, sabía perfectamente el menú y con buen conocimiento supo guiarme sobre los nuevos sabores de Sokai ofrece! 100% recomendado! Y por supuesto con la guía y cuidado de Valentina!
