The food was fine, tasted fine, too expensive. The service was poor; there was one server for an entire restaurant, it seemed. The booth was uncomfortable. I thought it would be a bit more of an upscale experience, but it wasn't. I won't be returning.

The food was delicious. It was more like a cross between Spanish and Mexican. "Inspired" is an excellent way to describe it. More importantly, our server was outstanding. He had a clever system that I used throughout the meal to signal him quietly that we needed something. This way he was attentive without being overbearing. The only negative for us is that it's loud and energetic. It made it hard to hear each other. But, it would have been a fun place for us if we were 20 years younger.

overall great food, loved the vibe. was disappointed that the server gave us our bill without asking if we were ready for it. We were planning on ordering dessert and another drink. We were surprised he never asked if we were all done.

Sombra was excellent! We had the nicest server. The food was outstanding! Highly recommend the margarita flight. The Italian margarita was my favorite! The guacamole flight was so good!

Mexican is a much needed addition to the East Greenwich culinary scene. At $17.00 for a margarita it was a bit on the expensive side. Guacamole and chips were good. Our entrees were good as well but the better value is in the tacos. Noise level was very loud.
