Son'z Steakhouse at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa boasts breathtaking views of cascading waterfalls, a lushly lit lagoon, and Maui sunsets.

Our diverse menu features freshly caught local fish only 100% USDA-certified Prime beef, known for its superior flavor and tenderness. Our bone-in ribeye, New York strip, and tomahawk steaks are dry-aged in-house, and all our steaks are marinated in olive oil and fresh herbs, hand-rubbed in Hawaiian salt and fresh cracked pepper, broiled to perfection, and finished with herb-infused Maître d'Hôtel butter.

                                                                          Wonderful date/occasion! Absolutely beautiful surroundings as it has huge windows that open up to a pond of swans and ducks. We got the stake and the lamb. Both were great, and I would go again. I wouldn’t call it anything different however than something you could get in the mainland US, so as long as you understand it’s purely just a typical statehouse (menu wise), you won’t be disappointed.

                                                                          We had such a great experience last year that we returned despite the lengthy drive from Kihei. Last year we were given one of the best tables in the house. This year we were give the worst. Off in a corner with no view. Food was excellent but the service has slipped. Our drink order took an inordinate amount of time to arrive and the bus person was at a complete loss as to what he was supposed to do. He finally filled our water glasses and removed the extra place settings after our delayed drinks arrived.

                                                                          A bit hot in the sun first seating, no fans, but cooled down when the sun set. Lovely pond with swans, ducks. Staff was friendly. Apps and mains were good. Steak was cooked perfectly. Dessert was just ok, would skip it next time. Overall it was expensive but a nice meal.

                                                                          Our experience was AMAZING! The food was soooo good. Services was impeccable. Lisa our server made us feel at home. She recommended the perfect drinks and food! My husband has the steak with crab.. my daughter  ordered the lobster raviolis, and I had the short ribs. We had reservations at 6 PM perfect time to see the sunset!

                                                                          Son’z provides superb service, ambiance and perhaps the best steakhouse on West Maui! We’re locals and have experienced fine dining all around this beautiful island, and I must say this place will never disappoint even to the most delectable palate! Keep it up, will be back!

                                                                          Filet mignon was delicious and cooked perfectly. Service was good however, our server got a very large party and didn’t come by to “check” on us as much as we would have liked. I understand this can be a challenging. We will return in the future.

                                                                          Excellent dinner experience. Beautiful setting overlooking the ocean and pool with Black and white swans swimming around. Food, of course, was amazing. We started with a delicious Wedge salad for my wife (with what looked like 1/2 pound of crispy bacon)! And I had the Greek Maui Wowie salad - excellent with hearts of palm and shrimp. As you’d expect, my filet was perfect both in how if was cooked and flavor and my wife loved her lobster ravioli. Great service as well. We had eaten there on our honeymoon and was fun to be back 34 years later.
