Our third visit in 2 months. As Sooke locals, we are delighted to see the Harbour House return to its glory, setting the standard for both polished, professional service and exceptional culinary experiences. By far, the best Eggs Benedict (Dungeness crab) I have ever had. Eggs perfectly poached, the hollandaise is silky perfection…bright and delicate, which is expertly balanced with the savoury, full flavoured tomato jam. Highly recommend. Service is friendly, attentive and professional. When you have everything you need, at all times, during a meal (without asking)…you are experiencing subtle excellence. This has been consistent in each of our visits. Thank you for a beautiful meal. We will be back again soon. Keep up the great work!

This was our second time eating here and it is quickly becoming one of our favorite spots. The food is always great, the service is top notch. I can't wait to come back.

Waiter didn’t know the menu. Waited 35 minutes to order. Ordered octopus and nowhere in the menu was stergeon caviar noted. Have a fish allergy so couldn’t eat. Was still charged for it, with an apology but never once was I asked about an allergy or was it noted on the menu-I am anaphylactic. Octopus was amazing but had not spoon to drink the broth. Elk tartar was great, no games flavour, but needed salt and spice c Dessert was delicious. Essentially it’s a restaurant trying to be high end, without the training n and experience.

I really want to line this place but the food is hit and miss I had the oyster poor boy. 4 very small oysters which ere way overcooked. My friend had the chicken schnitzel sandwich also overcooked. I’ve been twice for Thursday Lobster rolls which were good. For tourists who are one off diners probably okay. But for locals if you don’t get better we won’t return.

We both had the garlic shrimp lunch…delicious! Perfectly cooked. Everything was just 5 star in every way. We’ve had dinner there and brunch 3 times. Sooke finally has FINE dining, no longer have to drive to Victoria for special occasions. This is truly as good or better than anything there.
