   Food was mediocre at best. Both of our Steak au Poivre were overpriced for 2 small medallions and to make it worse, medium-rare temperature came out medium-well to well-done. Any decent kitchen should be able to get the temperature correct! The potatoes au gratin were tasteless and the grilled tomatoes cold. The waitress did ask if we wanted replacements for the medallions. We will not be returning.

   First time joining friends who are regulars. Excellent experience! Loved the menu and will be back! Scallops are amazing!

   this was our first time here and it was absolutely wonderful. if this restaurant was closer to verona, we'd be here every weekend! the food and service were outstanding. we had the country pate and onion soup for apps, steak frites and lamb shank for entrees, creme brûlée and espresso for dessert. oh, and the manhattan and kir royale were perfect before dinner drinks. even the bread was delicious!

   Sophie's didn't live up to the ratings posted by other reviewers for us. The French onion soup was very good, but beyond that, we were disappointed. The menu offered many items that would appeal to us, but the preparation simply didn't live up to our expectations.

   Dinner and experience was amazing as usual . The waiter was exceptional but food and cocktails were great as usual .

   A real French Bistro with a great menu. I've been going for many years but it had been a while since my last visit and I'm happy to report all is well here. I brought two friends with me who had never been and they were ecstatic after. Appetizers on point: The Escargot, the onion tart, and the creamed mushrooms (don't miss those--divine). Pork Tenderloin special that evening in a mustard cream sauce--so tender; the duck on the regular menu got high marks and I had the Coquilles St. Jacques..tasy but the mashed potatoes base got in the way. I would have liked to see it in the traditional shell-plated version or even in a little souffle-type basin. They have two new customers now who said it was their new favorite restaurant.

    Always a treat to have dinner at Sophie’s Bistro. The service is impeccable and the food is always excellent. The ambience is lovely. A favorite of mine since it opened I always have it on my list of places to take friends visiting the area in order to impress.
