For more than 30 years, chef and restaurateur Agostino Sciandri has enchanted Los Angelenos by introducing the flavors of Northern Italy in his classic and contemporary Italian dishes and his devotion to upholding the European standard of hospitality and exemplary service. Patrons escape the LA hustle and bustle, sipping Barolos and twirling their forks in homemade pastas, as though dining al fresco in the piazzas of Italy.

    Our waitress brought out the wrong entree that we did not order and so I had to wait while my family ate their dinners and I sat there with no food. She finally brought out my entree and did not offer to make it up with a desert or taking the entree off our bill. By the time my entree came out, the others on my take were done. We then had to wait 10-15 minutes more for our check after I was done. They are either understaffed or poorly trained.

    Had not been to Sor Tino in many years and was very surprised to find that the food was still delicious and the service top notch. The meal was paced very well and never felt rushed. One sour note that really couldn’t be helped was a VERY loud group with children. Perhaps a different sitting arrangement would have been better suited for them and the other diners. Outside that if you want a dinner experience worth your time and money Sor Tino is great.
