                                                                                                      Perfect! Absolutely perfect! We started with the deviled eggs. The presentation was five-star and the eggs delicious. Ordered the chicken piccata and not disappointed. The chicken was tender and had flavor; angel hair pasta cooked just right. And, most importantly, it was not salty from the capers.

                                                                                                      We were so disappointed that the live entertainment was not just loud--it was painfully loud. We love Soul and have gone since they've opened, but we will never have dinner again on nights with live entertainment. We asked our server if they could turn it down just a little bit. She returned a few minutes later saying she asked her manager and can't reduce the volume. She was very apologetic and said she also thought it was too loud. Personally I do not want to risk hearing loss due to a band that's too loud for a small area. Sheila, PLEASE correct this. They are a great group, but TOO LOUD, and we don't want to write Soul off our dining choice list.

                                                                                                      I used open table to make reservations requesting inside seating and they tried to seat us outside. They said the inside was for those who had reservations. Then they tried to blame Open Table. Very unprofessional but they did eventually seat us indoors and the dinner was good. However, I will think twice before dining at Soul Cafe again.

                                                                                                      One of my favorite restaurants in Scottsdale. Their menu is so varied and unique. Everything we have ever ordered has been delicious. I love their maple salmon and veggies and their beet salad. Also their Gabiano Pinot Grigio wine.
